Why DebugStress exists

Debugging software is like hunting for gremlins: tiny, sneaky, often irrational bugs that cause chaos. Stress is similar, a cascade of emotional "errors" set off by life's unexpected inputs. In both cases you have to slow down, isolate the root cause and test fixes patiently.

DebugStress brings that idea to teams. Dr. Jones has spent two decades supporting professionals across numerous Fortune 100 companies, and founded DebugStress to offer high-impact online group sessions that strengthen a team's well-being and long-term performance.

Background

Dr. Jones earned an MA and PsyD at Alliant International University and has worked in the field since 2006, with a background in clinical psychology and the tech industry. Dr. Jones's practice today focuses on adults coping with work stress and the challenges that come with it.

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, California BBS License 51801
  • Member, California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists
  • Provider with employer mental health programs including Lyra Health and Modern Health

How DebugStress differs from therapy

Dr. Jones also runs a separate, California-only clinical practice, Dr. Jones Therapy. DebugStress is not that practice. Its sessions are group stress-management training offered worldwide. They don't involve diagnosis or treatment and they don't create a therapist-client relationship. Anyone looking for individual care should talk with a licensed clinician where they live.
